The characters I have met are Richard L. Baldwin, Vic Werts and many other people that went along with the ride. Richard is a member of the board of directors for the special Olympics. He is also a writer for sports players. Richard went along with the Werts Warriors. He told about what the men that ride do and what inspired them to go on the ride. Richard also wrote about how they track and help the snowmobilers stay on track to make it the 900 miles. He wrote the story to tell others about how he and the other riders had to drive the 900 miles and raise as much money as they can to give back to the special Olympics for the kids that had special needs. Richard wrote about what he saw and listened to during the journey for the 900 miles.
There is this boy named Joshua and his mom and he is trying to ride a bike. He gets on the bike and starts peddling. He hit a little rock and flew off his bike and skimmed his face on the ground including his hands got scraped up too. His cheek and hands started to bleed, so his mom helped him with putting hydrogen peroxide on the cuts and scrapes. The hydrogen peroxide works and he says “Can I go out and ride my bike?”
One of the conflicts is when Richard noticed about raise money as they were riding for the 900 miles in the cold, because this was his first time going along and doing and watching what they did. he was raising money for the children that had disabilities, so they could have the special Olympics. Richard noticed that the 900 miles are hard on a person and a lot can go bad, like running out of fuel, or running into a tree, or their sled breaking.
I think the relation between Homer and Emily is a Pathogen relationship, because Emily kills Homer and lives with him for 20 years with him rotting. She lays him in her bed and she sleeps with him even though he is dead. She doesn't want him to leave. The way she kills him is by poisoning him so he won't leave. Emily just doesn't want to be alone for the rest of her life.
symbolic relationships:Is a special type of interaction between species. Sometimes beneficial, sometimes harmful, these relationships are essential to many organisms and ecosystems, and they provide a balance that can only be achieved by working together.
Symbiosis: It is a relation between two different living things in a close relationship, usually to the advantage of both. Like marriage Commensalism: A friendship between two living things in which one benefits and the other derives neither benefit nor harm. Mutualism: The principle that shared trust is necessary to social well-being. Like marriage Amensalism: There are a variety of relationships that happen between different species all over the world. In nature no organism lives its life in complete isolation. They must interact with other organisms and their environment in some manner. For example a bird and a tree, the bird uses the tree as shelter/protection. Parasitism: Is a non-mutual symbiotic relationship between species, where one species, the parasite, benefits at the expense of the other, the host. Like lice it uses the human for food but doesn’t kill the person. Pathogen: it is a bacterium, virus, or other germ that can cause disease. Like the flue What are the benefits
of having relationships? Benefits of a relationship are having good friends, having a good girlfriend/boyfriend, good relation with your parents, or relation with a pet. All relationships are good because, they help you better understand the person or animal. Relationships can also mean you have someone to talk to about whatever. A good thing about a relationship is that there will be someone there whenever you need them. What are the trade-offs in relationships? |
